  • Xiao Kong: The Charming Little Witch – An Analysis of Her Versatile Role

Minato Natsuki: The Cute Witch Who Strikes Fear into the Hearts of Enemies in the Game World
In this vibrant and extraordinary game world, Natsuki is like a sprite who always brings surprises to her teammates. She not only excels at dealing damage from the backline but also skillfully assists her allies, making enemies suffer under the Wind Erosion effect. To unlock her full potential, we need to equip her with the right weapons and resonances while assembling a reliable team. Today, let’s explore how to activate her all-around mode!
First, let’s get to know this adorable character. She is a 5-star Anemo Pinnacle Resonator, positioned as a sub-DPS and support. In simple terms, she can both deal damage and assist, making her an incredibly versatile card. Her skill mechanics are also fascinating—her 4th basic attack, Resonance Skill, and Resonance Release can all apply the Wind Erosion effect. Even more exciting is her Encore skill, which enhances the Wind Erosion effect on enemies, essentially tagging them with an automatic damage amplifier. Her Resonance Circuit, on the other hand, gathers enemies together, making it easier for teammates to perform multi-target attacks, as if hosting an “Enemy Party.”
When it comes to skill upgrades, here’s a suggested priority: Resonance Release comes first, as it maximizes damage output; next is Resonance Circuit, simply because gathering enemies is extremely useful; basic attacks and Resonance Skills can be moderately enhanced; and Encore is the final touch. Overall, Natsuki’s charm lies in her ability to deal damage while helping her teammates inflict even more harm.
When it comes to weapons, Natsuki needs a high Crit Rate since her damage output is her main strength. Woodland Aria is her signature weapon, offering impressive attack power and Crit Rate. Its effect is like labeling enemies with a “More Susceptible to Anemo Damage” tag, allowing Natsuki to deal extra Anemo damage when attacking enemies affected by Wind Erosion. For alternative options, Static Mist and The Last Dance are excellent choices. The latter, in particular, significantly boosts Resonance Skill damage when using Encore or Resonance Release, making it a perfect fit for a support-DPS role.
For resonance choices, Natsuki has two main directions: the Fuyunie no Kokoro set and the Karikusa no Tsukumo set. If your team is primarily Anemo-based, the Fuyunie no Kokoro set is the absolute best choice. This set not only increases Anemo damage but also boosts the team’s Anemo damage when applying the Wind Erosion effect, essentially adding a damage amplifier buff for the entire team. The Karikusa no Tsukumo set, on the other hand, is more versatile for most teams, as it enhances the attack power of the next Resonator after using Encore, making it the perfect enhancement for a support character. For main resonances, Phantom Impermanence Heron and Wuwa-Impermanence Heron are both great options, offering Obliteration damage and sustained Pyro damage, respectively, depending on your team’s needs.
In terms of resonance word choices, prioritize Crit Rate and Crit Damage for the main words, as dealing damage is Natsuki’s primary task. Next, focus on Anemo damage to further boost her output, and include attack percentage as a basic requirement. For sub-words, choose Crit Rate, Crit Damage, Resonance Efficiency, and attack percentage. Ultimately, we want Natsuki to be both a damage dealer and a valuable ally to her team.

  • Summer Void: Dancing Amidst Melody and Gun Shadows – Five-Star Powered Handgun Resonator

The moonlight cascades like water, pouring down onto this land filled with musical notes, weaving a moving waltz. In the whispers of the wind, a name is softly spoken—Kakera. She is a gunfire resonator armed with a pistol, gracefully dancing amidst the chaos of battle, as if conducting the rhythm of her team.
In this world filled with melodies, Kakera writes her own symphony in a unique way. As a five-star gunfire resonator, she can deal damage from behind the scenes or coordinate her team’s rhythm like a conductor. Her mission is to clothe the enemy in the attire of wind erosion, letting them succumb to our melody.
When the fourth basic attack, resonance skill, and resonance release play like a quartet, the curtain of wind erosion effect unfolds on the enemy. The encore skill acts like a baton, increasing the wind erosion damage bonus by 100%, making the melody even more enchanting. The resonance loop is the most exquisite part of this song, gathering scattered notes to make our attacks more lethal.
In this moving melody, the resonance release is the most dazzling climax, deserving of our greatest passion and anticipation. The resonance loop is the indispensable metronome of this song, bringing surprising effects. The basic attack is the most fundamental yet crucial note in this melody, requiring our careful attention. The resonance skill and encore skill are the indispensable harmonies in this melody, perfectly complementing the main theme.
In this magical world, choosing a weapon that suits your heart is crucial. “Lin Jian’s Canticle” is our most recommended choice, a five-star weapon akin to a lively melody from the depths of the forest. With a base attack of 500 and a critical hit rate of 36%, it stands out. When our attacks apply the wind erosion effect, our anemo damage bonus increases by 24% for 10 seconds. Hitting enemies with wind erosion reduces their anemo resistance by 10% for 20 seconds, making them succumb to our rhythm.
If you don’t have this perfect weapon, “Suspending Smoke” is another five-star option. With a base attack of 588 and a critical hit rate of 24.3%, it’s a fine choice. After using the encore skill, the incoming character’s attack increases by 10%, stackable once, lasting 14 seconds. “Death and Dance,” “Farewell Romance,” “Paradox Jet,” and “Penetrating Gun-26” are good alternatives, each with unique tones waiting to be discovered.
During this process, don’t forget to use Treabar’s prepaid service, enjoying up to 22% off, making our journey smoother and more enjoyable.
In this world filled with sound, the choice of voice relics is equally important. “Flowing Clouds, Empty Sky” is our top choice for Kakera, descending like flowing clouds, bringing endless possibilities. With a 2-piece set, anemo damage increases by 10%; with a 5-piece set, applying wind erosion increases anemo damage by another 20% for 15 seconds.
With a 4-piece set, the encore skill’s effect is further enhanced, with a 20% chance to immediately trigger it when attacking enemies.

  • Sociology of Team Formation Strategies: A Structural Functional Analysis of Collaboration and Resource Allocation

Analyzing Katheryne’s Game Mechanics and Role Positioning from a Social Structure Perspective
In the development of contemporary online games, character design often reveals profound sociological significance. Katheryne is a typical case; her skill mechanisms, role positioning, and interactions with other characters are worthy of in-depth analysis from the perspective of social structure.

    Sociological Analysis of Role Positioning

As a 5-star Anemo Resonancer using a swift blade in combat, Katheryne exhibits two distinct forms: Katheryne and Flevris. This design aligns with the phenomenon of personality differentiation in social role theory. In her Katheryne form, she relies on the summoning and recalling of the sword’s shadow, reflecting the dependency of an individual’s position within collective collaboration. In her Flevris form, she releases her ultimate skill through a belief generation mechanism, showcasing the agency an individual can attain within a specific social structure.
From the perspective of social interaction, Katheryne’s skill mechanisms emphasize collaboration and interdependence among characters. Her Resonance Liberation skill requires teammates to apply the Anemo Corrosion effect, which aligns with the principle of role complementarity in society. Similar to mutual aid phenomena in community studies, an individual’s efficiency is often maximized through group collaboration.

Prioritization of Skill Configurations and Their Sociological Interpretation

Core Status of Resonance Liberation and Resonance Circuits
The prioritization of Resonance Liberation and Resonance Circuits reflects their core importance, resonating with the concept of bridging capital in social capital theory, which emphasizes the role of key nodes in enhancing overall efficiency. Resonance Liberation not only removes layers of the enemy’s Anemo Corrosion effect but also increases damage proportionally with the number of layers removed, highlighting the importance of the accumulation effect of social resources.
Auxiliary Nature of Normal Attacks and Resonance Skills
The lower priority of normal attacks and Resonance skills reflects their foundational yet crucial role, akin to infrastructure in social structures. They provide the necessary conditions for the execution of higher-level skills, embodying the principle of division of labor and collaboration in social systems.

Weapon Choices from the Perspective of Social Resource Allocation

Katheryne’s weapon choices exhibit significant resource dependency characteristics. As a damage-dealing character, her damage output is highly dependent on her HP and critical strike attributes, aligning with the principle of resource optimization in society. As her signature weapon, Notkus, Oath of the Sunken King, maximizes resource use efficiency by enhancing HP and defense ignore effects.
From the perspective of social inequality, the attack boost mechanism of the Red Spring weapon reflects the phenomenon of resource accumulation and stratification. The cumulative nature of attack boosts is similar to wealth accumulation in society; once a certain threshold is reached, it becomes difficult to reverse the resulting advantages.

Structural Functional Analysis of Relic Sets

The configuration of relic sets reflects functional differentiation and integration within social structures. The Glory of the Wanderer set provides optimal ability support for Katheryne through its Anemo damage bonus and Anemo Corrosion trigger mechanism. This configuration is analogous to professional division of labor and collaborative cooperation in society, where various components work together to maximize overall efficiency.
From the perspective of social exchange theory, the 4-4-1-1-1 relic configuration reflects optimization principles in resource exchange. The selection of main relics and the combination of sub-stats reflect marginal effects and complementarity in resource allocation, aligning with the principle of utility maximization in social exchanges.

Ruka Resonant: The Flame Dancer of the Magma World
In this passionate and intense game world, every character is like a unique dancer, performing their own waltz on the battlefield. Today, we’re going to talk about one of these dancers, her name is Ruka, a magma-attribute long-blade wielder who combines support and damage into one versatile role. She’s like a perfect choreographer, able to control the rhythm of the entire battlefield while becoming its center of attention.
    Ruka’s Profile
Ruka is a 5-star magma-attribute resonant who wields a long-blade. In a magma team, she plays an indispensable role, like a gentle conductor leading the entire team to victory.
    Ruka’s Role
Ruka is a 5-star 【magma】-attribute, 【long-blade】wielding resonant. In a magma team, she excels as both an excellent support and a capable damage dealer. Like a perfect dancer, she can take care of the whole troupe while showcasing her own charm in a solo performance.
    Ruka’s Support Abilities
Ruka’s resonance release skill is like a gentle mother, providing the team with two types of buffs: “Hunt” and “Glory.”

Hunt: Increases the team’s damage by 6%. When a team member uses a guide skill, damage is further increased by 6%, up to a maximum of 18%. Like a strict teacher, she pushes every team member to perform at their best.
Glory: Allows the team to ignore 3%~9% of 【magma resistance】, depending on the number of 【magma】resonants in the team. If there are three 【magma】resonants, an additional 6% resistance is ignored. Like a wise leader, she guides the team through countless challenges.

Additionally, Ruka’s resonance termination skill is like a generous mentor, granting the incoming resonant the following powerful buffs:

    【Magma damage】+20%
    【Normal attack damage】+25%

This makes her one of the core supports in a magma team, significantly enhancing the main damage dealer’s burst potential.
    Ruka’s Personal Damage Capability
Ruka accumulates “Wolf Flame” resources through her attacks. Like a diligent student, she gathers knowledge for unexpected needs.
When Wolf Flame reaches at least 50 points, her heavy and mid-air attacks on the third segment will consume Wolf Flame to restore “Wolf Soul.” Like a wise strategist, she uses resources effectively to achieve the best results.
When “Wolf Soul” is fully charged, she can unlock an enhanced version of her resonance skill, further improving her personal damage output. Like a perfect actor, she shines brightest at the most critical moments.
    Ruka’s Skill Priority
Ruka’s skills are like a multi-functional Swiss Army knife, each with its unique purpose:

Katheryne: Seeking Eternal Resonance at the Edge of the Wind
In this land eroded by the wind, there is a legend about a Resonancer. Her name is Katheryne, wielding the Swift Blade and dancing to the melody of the wind. When she steps onto the battlefield, it feels as if the entire world is presenting the most touching overture for her.
Katheryne: The Resonancer of the Wind
Katheryne is a 5-star Wind-type Resonancer. Her Swift Blade is like a blade in the wind, full of endless elegance and power. In battle, she can switch between two forms: Katheryne and Phloria. These two forms are like day and night, each with unique features but interdependent, forming her distinctive combat style.
As Katheryne, every attack of hers is like writing a poem. Her final normal attack, heavy attack, Resonance Skill, and Resonance Loop will summon different sword shadows. These sword shadows are like loyal servants, always ready to serve her. When she uses her falling attack to summon these sword shadows, the enemy will feel the pain from the past, with each sword shadow dealing significant damage.
When her Resonance Energy is full, she transforms into Phloria. This form is full of power, and her attacks generate belief. These beliefs will eventually converge into an astonishing finishing move: Roar of the Wind Blade. At this moment, it feels as if the entire world is cheering for her, with every move filled with endless power and beauty.
    Katheryne’s Skill Dance
Among Katheryne’s skills, the most important are her Resonance Release and Resonance Loop. The Resonance Release is like the climax of a melody, while the Resonance Loop is the key power supporting her combat rhythm. Normal attacks and Resonance Skills are the foundation of her combat, while Variable Skills are the embellishments.
Katheryne’s Weapon Choice: Balancing Power and Elegance
As a character whose output is based on HP, Katheryne’s weapon choice is crucial. She needs a weapon that can maximize her damage output, and her choices are relatively limited but precise.
The best choice is her exclusive weapon, the “Crown of Inevitable Fate.” This Swift Blade radiates mysterious light, with a base attack of 413 and a percentage boost of 72.2% of HP. Its weapon effect is even more impressive: At R1, HP is increased by 12%. After casting a Variable Skill or Normal Attack, damage will ignore 8% of defense for 15 seconds. When the enemy has the Wind Erosion effect, damage is increased by 20%.
Other good choices include “Spring Cutting” and “Guardian Swift Blade: Coastal Guardian.” “Spring Cutting” is suitable for players pursuing attack speed and critical hits, with a base attack of 588 and a critical hit rate of 24.3%. Meanwhile, “Guardian Swift Blade: Coastal Guardian” provides a 30.4% HP boost, suitable for early training.
Katheryne’s Echoes Journey: Symphony of Power
In version 2.4, an air-type Echoes set “Journey of Wearing Glory” was released, specifically designed for Katheryne. Since her abilities do not change with attack power, she can fully utilize the Echoes cost configuration — 44111 — instead of the more common 43311 configuration.

    Journey of Wearing Glory Set

This is Katheryne’s best choice. The set effects include:
    2-piece: Wind damage +10%
    5-piece: Attack accuracy

Under the vast starry sky, the first half of the banner will introduce a new character, “Hakuro,” and re-run three characters: “Takahashi,” “Hanabi,” and “Sunday.” Hakuro, a 5-star physical attribute character with the “Destruction” fate, serves as the main DPS. His skill mechanism does not rely on energy release for his ultimate skill but instead accumulates layers of “Destruction” to cast his ultimate. Once the Destruction reaches the specified layers, Hakuro can cast his ultimate to enter “Realm” status, where only he remains on the field, gaining self-enhancement effects and access to three unique skills.
After entering the Realm, Hakuro will leave the Realm after a fixed number of turns and deal damage evenly distributed among all enemies. His combat rhythm revolves around allowing teammates to provide buffs outside the Realm to help him accumulate Destruction faster and activate his ultimate. Once in the Realm, all enhancement effects he gains outside the Realm will no longer expire, allowing him to deal higher burst damage during his fixed actions.
The Fate/Stay Night collaboration will also arrive as promised, like an unavoidable fateful encounter under the stars. The collaboration banner will introduce two new characters: “Saber” and “Archer.” Additionally, this collaboration banner does not have a fixed end date, and there will be no rate-up for 4-star characters.
Saber is a 5-star wind attribute Destruction fate main DPS character in Genshin Impact: Starlight Express, capable of dealing high burst damage by frequently casting her ultimate. Her skill mechanism focuses on using her ultimate as much as possible to inflict damage. Additionally, every time a teammate casts their ultimate, Saber gains energy and “Core Resonance” stacks, which enhance her damage output. Her combat style emphasizes using normal attacks, enhancements, and teammates’ ultimates to accumulate Core Resonance and improve overall damage efficiency.
Archer is a 5-star quantum attribute, Hunting fate main DPS character in Genshin Impact: Starlight Express, capable of dealing high burst damage by frequently casting his skills. His skill mechanism revolves around “casting skills consecutively” to inflict massive damage. When Archer uses a skill, his turn does not end. As long as his skill points are not below 2 or he has not consecutively cast skills 5 times, he can continue using skills. Additionally, every time he casts his ultimate, he gains 2 layers of “Charge,” and every time a teammate attacks an enemy, this Charge can trigger a follow-up attack and restore 1 skill point.
His combat style focuses on casting skills as many times as possible in a single turn. Therefore, before his turn, teammates need to provide buffs (e.g., restoring skill points or dealing additional damage) to maximize his damage potential.
The second half of the banner will re-run three characters: “Nagisa,” “Sumire,” and “Hinata.”
