Xiao Kong: The Charming Little Witch – An Analysis of Her Versatile Role

Minato Natsuki: The Cute Witch Who Strikes Fear into the Hearts of Enemies in the Game World
In this vibrant and extraordinary game world, Natsuki is like a sprite who always brings surprises to her teammates. She not only excels at dealing damage from the backline but also skillfully assists her allies, making enemies suffer under the Wind Erosion effect. To unlock her full potential, we need to equip her with the right weapons and resonances while assembling a reliable team. Today, let’s explore how to activate her all-around mode!
First, let’s get to know this adorable character. She is a 5-star Anemo Pinnacle Resonator, positioned as a sub-DPS and support. In simple terms, she can both deal damage and assist, making her an incredibly versatile card. Her skill mechanics are also fascinating—her 4th basic attack, Resonance Skill, and Resonance Release can all apply the Wind Erosion effect. Even more exciting is her Encore skill, which enhances the Wind Erosion effect on enemies, essentially tagging them with an automatic damage amplifier. Her Resonance Circuit, on the other hand, gathers enemies together, making it easier for teammates to perform multi-target attacks, as if hosting an “Enemy Party.”
When it comes to skill upgrades, here’s a suggested priority: Resonance Release comes first, as it maximizes damage output; next is Resonance Circuit, simply because gathering enemies is extremely useful; basic attacks and Resonance Skills can be moderately enhanced; and Encore is the final touch. Overall, Natsuki’s charm lies in her ability to deal damage while helping her teammates inflict even more harm.
When it comes to weapons, Natsuki needs a high Crit Rate since her damage output is her main strength. Woodland Aria is her signature weapon, offering impressive attack power and Crit Rate. Its effect is like labeling enemies with a “More Susceptible to Anemo Damage” tag, allowing Natsuki to deal extra Anemo damage when attacking enemies affected by Wind Erosion. For alternative options, Static Mist and The Last Dance are excellent choices. The latter, in particular, significantly boosts Resonance Skill damage when using Encore or Resonance Release, making it a perfect fit for a support-DPS role.
For resonance choices, Natsuki has two main directions: the Fuyunie no Kokoro set and the Karikusa no Tsukumo set. If your team is primarily Anemo-based, the Fuyunie no Kokoro set is the absolute best choice. This set not only increases Anemo damage but also boosts the team’s Anemo damage when applying the Wind Erosion effect, essentially adding a damage amplifier buff for the entire team. The Karikusa no Tsukumo set, on the other hand, is more versatile for most teams, as it enhances the attack power of the next Resonator after using Encore, making it the perfect enhancement for a support character. For main resonances, Phantom Impermanence Heron and Wuwa-Impermanence Heron are both great options, offering Obliteration damage and sustained Pyro damage, respectively, depending on your team’s needs.
In terms of resonance word choices, prioritize Crit Rate and Crit Damage for the main words, as dealing damage is Natsuki’s primary task. Next, focus on Anemo damage to further boost her output, and include attack percentage as a basic requirement. For sub-words, choose Crit Rate, Crit Damage, Resonance Efficiency, and attack percentage. Ultimately, we want Natsuki to be both a damage dealer and a valuable ally to her team.
